Group Coaching

Doubters  Anonymous: 8 Billion Strong and Growing

What is it?

A bi-monthly meetup group to get support and learn about how to work more effectively with our inner critic, self-doubt, imposter syndrome, perfectionism, and any voice that says, I’m not good enough.

There will be a rich learning environment with lessons, exercises, and group discussions.

When will we meet?

We meet twice per month, every two weeks.

We meet on the 1st and 3rd Friday of the month.

Next Meetings

May 3 and May 17 2024

@ 8AM Pacific

Dave’s entire coaching practice is built on mutual vulnerability. As a coach, he is disarming, genuine, curious, and non-judgemental. It’s been fascinating to see the DA group coalesce in real time, and I appreciate Dave’s candor and transparency as he’s building this group.

In just one Doubters Anonymous meeting you’ve already helped me look at some life-long struggles in a new way and I am so grateful.

Who is it for?

Anyone brave enough to admit their self-doubt gets in the way of living out your dreams and aspirations.

This includes creatives of all types, entrepreneurs, innovators, and leaders of all types.

I am also working with my own self-doubt even as I type these words and wonder if anyone will show up!

Course Content and Themes

Two sessions per month, one of each theme:

CREATIVITY

First Friday of the month @ 8AM Pacific

In this 60-min session, we’ll dance with your artistry, creativity, or any belief about what’s lacking in this area.

I sincerely believe everyone is creative and that we urgently need to access our creativity to live our fullest lives.

Your creativity may emerge when cooking, planning, gardening, or decorating your house.

Or you may be more externally artistic with a flair for acting, music, painting, poetry, pottery, and so on. It all counts in my book and self-doubt loves to show up in our creative pursuits.

Example Topics:

  • Believing in your own creativity

  • Sharing your work with others

  • Finding and harvesting your own creativity and creative process

  • Music: dancing, singing, learning an instrument, writing your own song

  • Creating video, film, and multimedia content, gardening, home decorating

CAREER

Third Friday of the month @ 8AM Pacific

In this 60-min session, we’ll address persistent themes of self-doubt such as imposter syndrome, perfectionism, and not good enough as it relates to your career.

I will share stories and key learnings from my entrepreneurial life, and we’ll work with any situation you’d like to share to get perspective.

We’ll also look at other areas and learn more about how to fearlessly go beyond what’s possible.

Example Topics:

  • Searching for a new career

  • Launching new products, services, websites, apps, projects

  • Creating a big change inside a company or with a team’s direction

  • Raising your hand and saying yes

  • Moving past imposter syndrome

  • Initiating and succeeding at high-stakes conversations, managing up

  • Learning to take healthy risks

  • Moving beyond your comfort zone
